            Khanom Linma or Khaonom Piang (or Khao Piang for short) can be made with just the black glutinous rice flour and salt. Sometimes with just white glutinous rice flour (Rattana Phromphichai, 1999, p. 824; Rattana Chaiyanan, personal communication, June 28, 2007)
 
Ingredients
1. Black Glutinous rice flour3 Cups
2. Glutinous rice flour1 Cup
3. Sugar2 Tbsp.
4. Grated Coconut1 Cup
5. Salt1 Tsp.

1. Mix both kinds of flour with water.
2. Prepare banana leaves 6” wide and coat with oil.
3. Scoop the batter onto the banana leaves and flatten slightly
4. Fold the leaves on the right and left and on both ends
5 Steam on a medium fire 20 minutes.
6. To serve take the leaves off and sprinkle with coconut and sugar.
 
Tips
Knead the flour until it thickens while slowly adding water.
