I-huak refers to baby frogs in the early stage. Tadpoles can be used in aep, namphrik and kaeng no mai dong (pickled bamboo soup). The method for making aep i-huak is similar to that of other kinds of aep in which the mixture is cooked by grilling on a low fire until done.
