Snakehead fish goes well with kaeng phak bung and tomatoes do also. Lime juice makes the taste perfect and the smell delicious. (Dikit Kanthakalang, personal communication, June 16, 2007)
 
Tips
Stir and blend chili paste well into water to get the right taste before adding fish. Do not stir too much after that or the fish can easily break apart.
