Khai pam, pam khai or ok khai is another simple dish made from eggs cooked in banana leaf cups. Red peppers can be used to make it look nicer. The eggs can be cooked in a pan instead of banana leaf cups on a charcoal stove or in a fry pan placed over a fire. (Rattana Phromphichai, 1999, p. 7832; Ladda Kanthachin, personal communication, June 29, 2007)
