Tam malako or tam ba kluay-tet or som tam (papaya pok-pok) is a popular snack or a meal by itself when eaten with sticky rice. It is called lu ba-kluay-tet when thin slices of papaya are merely mixed with chili paste made from dried chilies, garlic, shrimp paste and boiled fermented fish.
