1. Soak rice 2-3 hours and clean.
2. Add liquid from pandan leaves with salt and let set for 10 minutes. Drain.
3. Place two sheets of banana leaves (10 wide) crosswise and put in one handful of rice followed by a piece of banana and another handful of rice on top.
4. Fold the banana leaves to the right and left and then close both ends and tie it with a bamboo strip.
5. Boil 1 hour.
6. When its cooked let it cool and take off the wrapper
7. Roll in grated coconut and sprinkle with sugar.
