            Wild climbing shrub; bark white, smooth with tiny brown bumps all over it. Leaves simple, alternate, heart shaped, slightly indented at the base, acuminate, elliptic and truncated at the tip, attenuate at the base, glabrous, thin, pinnate nervate, green. Inflorescence with dioecious flowers; male spike cylindrical, longer than female ones. Achene globose-lenticular, green, 0..5-0.7 cm., enclosed in the bracts and perianth.
