The Lamphun morning market is on the north of the Royal Residence (khum luang) which is present day Chaemfa Plaza. Chao Phraya Wongsanupraphan, the inspecting officer of Monthon Phayap visited the morning market in 1916 during his official inspection tour of the northern frontier towns. |
