The tower is to the northeast of Haripunchai Chedi. It is a two story structure where the bell hangs which was cast in the reign of the seventh ruler of Nakhon Lamphun (1871-1888). The lower floor houses a big gong or kangsadang cast in the reign of the sixth ruler of Nakhon Chiang Mai (1856-1870) and a revered monk from Phrae to be dedicated in the Haripunchai Chedi. The gong is 88 inches in diameter, the largest in the country.
