Aerial photograph of Wat Ku Tao Behind the temple laid a vast paddy field, 1953.   The Chedi of Wat Ku Tao, 2008. Wat Ku Tao is in Tambon Si Phum next to the Municipality Stadium. The buildings in the temple today have been repaired and renovated differently from the original ones. For example the Vihara and ordination hall of the temple. The so called Wat Ku Tao or Wat Weluwanaram means the temple in the bamboo forest. It has a bowl shaped 5 level chedi with four Buddha image bays at all directions. Some called it “phra chao ha phraong” as “ha” refers to its five tiers. Each of the tiers was decorated with stuccos and small floral design colored glass. Its tip is decorated with a Burmese style umbrella.
