Prince Kusonwong Na Lamphun |

Prince Kusonwong was the son of Chao Ratsamphanthawong of Nakhon Chiang Mai and Chao Khamyon. He was born in Bangkok in 1890 and grew up in Lamphun. He served in the government in the Revenue Office of Lamphun and he was promoted to be Inspecting Accountant bur resigned in the later years to engage in private business.
Chao Noi Kusonwong was good in mechanics as well as poetry and northern and central Thai dialects. He was granted permission by Chao ChakkhamKhachonsak to use the surname Na Lamphun and he used it until he passed away.
After his resignation from the government service, he was invited by the Yangpiang ethnic group of Huai La Village in Ban Hong District of Lamphun to be their leader. So, he moved to the village and lived there the rest of his life.
Chao Noi Kusonwong married Chao Khingkham Na Chiang Mai, daughter of Chao Ratchabut (Khamtue Na Chiang Mai) and Chao Fongkaeo. Chao Ratchabut Khamtue was the son of Chao Upparat (viceroy) Bunthawong of Nakhon Chiang Mai. Chao Fongkaeo was a daughter of Chao Noi Mahawong of Ban Sansai, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province. Chao Kusonwong died on December 11, 1975 at the age of 85.
