Constitution Day
The celebration was conducted at the lawn of the Lamphun Officers Club by Major General Maha Ammat Tho Chakkhamkhachonsak, the 10th ruler of Lamphun or the last one before the change of the administration system from Absolute Monarchy to the Democratic System of a Constitutional Monarchy with the King as head of state and the Prime Minister as head of the government. Since then, there was no longer any appointment of a city ruler throughout the kingdom.
