The vihara roof is covered with galvanized iron roofing that is being repaired since the 8th Regional Office of Fine Arts found out that the roof structure was worn out. The supporting bars of the roof tiles had bent causing the roof to leak. Some roof tiles had also worn out so the office had to plan its repair in order to prevent future problems. The renovation will be done to the entire building, especially its roof which will be done along with decorating the roof finials and reinforcing the vihara posts.
